AC/DC starts an 18-month world tour in October, the first since 2000/2001, their agent said Monday.

Not too many details are known, but it will promote the Anglo-Australian band’s upcoming album, a Wal-Mart exclusive. Yes, that’s right, Wal-Mart is the exclusive seller of the CD. A single is expected to hit radio stations in August. The last time AC/DC released its last album was “Stiff Upper Lip,” in 2000.

I have to wonder if this is AC/DC’s goodbye tour.
